DONATIONS

One of the ways the Buddy Walk of GNO raises funds is by pledges and donations in honor of a person with Down syndrome. We suggest you gather up all your family and friends and create a team. Come up with a great name for your team, (ex. Kevin’s Krewe, Lizzy’s Legions). Decorate your young child’s stroller or wagon or have everyone wear hats that match!! Then ask everyone on your team to seek sponsors for their walk. Be sure to keep a tally of your child’s sponsor total and enter it on the books at the membership booth on the day of the walk. The top fundraising “honorees” will receive trophies. Don’t forget to create your “spirit poster.” We’ll have a spirit poster contest again this year!!
